The vehicle GPS receiver acquires satellite signals via an antenna. GPS satellites continuously transmit radio signals to the ground, covering most of the globe to ensure users can receive signals from at least 4 satellites simultaneously. Monitoring stations receive these signals, measure transmission delays, and provide data to the master control station for correcting satellite orbits and clock errors. The receiver then decodes navigation messages to calculate its own position.
GPS technology realizes real-time global positioning through the logic of "time-distance-coordinate" conversion, relying on the satellite constellation coverage, high-precision atomic clock synchronization, and optimized error correction algorithms.
