How to install auto electronic dash cams
To begin with, install the auto electronics dash cams and its mount, ensuring it's positioned optimally on the windshield without obstructing the view.
Then comes the wiring process: follow the roof lining, door frame seals, and conceal the wires behind the glovebox, eventually leading them to the center console. Finally, connect the wires to a cigarette lighter adapter, ensuring the smart dash cams receives power and operates correctly.

Installation steps:
1. Secure the HD dashcam: Use a suction cup to attach the smart dash cams near the rearview mirror, taking care not to block the line of sight.
2. Determine wiring direction and position: Theoretically, you can wire it from either the driver's or passenger's side, but consider practicality based on your car's interior layout.
3. Conceal the wires: Most car roofs have elastic material. Gently pry it open by hand and tuck the wires into the roof's crevice. If you're new to DIY, auxiliary tools like a pry bar can assist.
4. Carefully handle the A-pillar trim: Disassembling this requires extra attention. Before removal, study how it's fixed. Most cars allow you to pull the A-pillar trim along its seam, but some models might differ. If your vehicle has side curtain airbags, be cautious to avoid hindering their deployment. Once wiring is done, gently press the panel back into place.
5. Cleverly route wires through the interior: If wiring from the driver's side, after passing through the A-pillar, you can enter the upper hollow section of the footwell through the door panel's lower side. This method is more convenient compared to routing wires through the glovebox or under the floor mat on the passenger side. Securely fasten the wire harness to prevent safety hazards.
6. Final wire connection: Ultimately, the wire harness will emerge near the center console and connect to a cigarette lighter port using a splitter. Ensure a secure connection so the auto electronics dash cams receives a consistent power supply for normal operation.
These steps aren't just about installation—they involve careful consideration of your vehicle's structure and safety, ensuring a secure and reliable setup for your smart dash cams.
