In a simple car security GPS tracker, there are only four wires that need to be connected, so first find the following bold lines in the car.
GPS locator red line → positive pole of car power supply

Installing SIM card
Many friends don't understand why GPS positioning systems need to install a mobile phone card. In fact, SIM cards play an important role in GPS positioning systems. Simply put, GPS locators are responsible for collecting the longitude and latitude data of the terminal. After collecting the longitude and latitude data, they transmit the positioning data to the designated backend through the GSM network of the SIM card in the form of GPRS, and finally form a positioning monitoring system.
Attention: Please ensure that the GPS positioning terminal is inserted into the SIM card without power, as it is prone to card burning.
After installing the SIM, please turn on the backup power switch (on the side) and confirm that the SIM is secure and not loose.
After loading the card, return to the first step. Install various colored wire sequences and ensure that the connectors are not loose or water ingress. Please use standard automotive circuit wiring methods for the wiring process, and do not be perfunctory. Poor wiring handling can easily cause power outage and malfunction of the GPS locator, and also pose a certain safety hazard of short circuit and fire.
The thread ends should be protected with heat shrink tubing to ensure they are not easily detached or water ingress. Then use waterproof adhesive tape to bundle it with the original vehicle line.
The wired car GPS tracker is compact and easy to install covertly. The common fixed position is to remove the front bumper of the driver/passenger seat, which can also be installed in its internal space, as well as under the seat, trunk, and other places. On the one hand, it ensures that the GPS antenna for car can receive satellite signals normally, and on the other hand, it can ensure that the vehicle is not easily flooded during car washing, which can cause the terminal to burn down.
Attention:
1. The signal of the GPS antenna for car (as shown in the black box below) is easily blocked by concrete and metal substances, while plastic, human body, fabric, and so on have no impact. So when fixing, please ensure that there is no metal material blocking the signal receiving surface, and ensure that the receiving surface can face upwards towards the sky. Fix and lay it flat using Velcro or plastic ties to prevent it from falling off during prolonged use.
2. When fixing the global positioning satellite gps locator, there is no distinction between the positive and negative sides. The terminal can be tightly fixed with Velcro and tie straps to ensure that it will not fall off or make abnormal noises in long-term vehicle bumps, alternating cold and hot environments.
